We wanted the Beach House to have a low impact on the environment, eco friendly; so although
there are AC units in all the rooms, the Beach House is built with screened ventilation throughout. Not just the screened porches upstairs and downstarirs, but screened showers and high wall screened openings and screened ventilation along the floors, and screened windows all along the back wall. The air just pours through this house and rarely do you need AC!
The hot water is solar powered, although there is electric back up. The salt ionizing pool system also runs on solar. Luxury eco friendly vacationing!
