The property is rich with wildlife featuring frequent poolside viewings of our resident toucans, three-toed sloth and howler monkeys. The house provides privacy, and is rich in wildlife, even though is only a short walk to our Beach Club bar and restaurant and premier surfing at Playa Colorado. An even shorter stroll to vibrant nightlife at our restaurants and micro-brewery. This commercial center also boasts a spa; health club; golf clubhouse; convenience stores; coffee/pastry shop and bike; surfboard and motorcycle rentals.
This is the listing for the studio connected to Casa Rio. The 1 bedroom guest cottage can be rented out separately from the house using this listing. If the main house on the site is rented, both groups will share the pool and patio area. Please note the studio is not available for rent on its own during Easter week or December 24-January 2nd as its only available for rent along with the 3BR/2BA house located on the property.
This house is located within the Hacienda Iguana development, which is known for its world-class surf breaks. There are 4 surf breaks within walking distance- Playa Colorado, Panga Drops and Los Perros are in the neighborhood and Playa Amarillo is to the south of Playa Colorado (walkable at low tide). We also have a beautiful 9-hole golf course. The course is well designed, beautifully maintained and very affordable to guests.
